Using your Geddes Reader with a
Computer Monitor

By using readily available electronic parts, the output from
the reader can use a computer monitor as a display, and
be switched so that both the Reader and the computer remain
fully functioning but with only the selected one using the display,
as per the diagram below:

New Feature for the Geddes Glide Reader

The addition of an elevating cradle enhances the
flexibility of the Geddes Glide Reader.

A dual function cradle can now be fitted to the 'wings' of the reader. There are two modes:

With the cradle in low mode the camera is supported just above the document, which allows
the reading material to be moved under the camera so that all parts of the document
can be viewed and lines of print easliy followed.

With the cradle in the high mode the Reader is supported 200mm above the viewing field,
enabling a photo or illustration to fill the TV screen.
